Down To Earth Azomite Granulated Natural - 5 lb

Down To Earth’s AZOMITE, the “A to Z of Minerals Including Trace Elements,” is a natural trace mineral product formed from the dust of an ancient volcano in central Utah. DTE AZOMITE can improve root system growth, crop yields, quality and flavors as well as re-mineralize nutrient depleted soils.

This granulated grade is ideal for blending with other fertilizer materials or amendments as a trace mineral resource to help meet plant nutritional needs. It can be applied directly or in combination with composts, fertilizers, manures or soil inoculants. OMRI Listed (Organic Materials Review Institute)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Application Season: Fall; Spring

  • Use Instructions:

Containers: For new plantings, add 1-2 tbsp. per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly or add 0.5-1 lb. per cubic yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tsp. per gallon into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.

Lawns: Apply 2.5-5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet and water in well. Three to four applications per year are recommended and results may be enhanced if applied following aeration. For new lawns, apply 5 lbs. per 1,000 square feet and mix into top 3 of soil before seeding or sodding.

For grapes, apply ½-1 lb. to the soil around each plant and thoroughly mix into soil. For new trees, prepare transplant hole and mix 4-8 oz. with the backfill soil. Use the amended soil to fill in around the new tree and water in well.
