Fruit is smooth-skinned and ranges in color from pale to medium green with black spines and attractive blossom-end highlights. Our trials team was impressed by the flavor and texture of Double Yield—fruit is tender and juicy, with crisp skin and a mild flavor. Excellent for pickling or eating fresh. Harvest regularly to avoid oversized fruit.
