Refined rutabaga with smooth, round, and uniform roots.

The dense, cream-colored flesh is crisp and mildly sweet, with flavor improving after frost. Excellent for roasted root medleys and other hearty winter dishes. Highly uniform plants with good field resistance to club root, and roots store exceptionally well through the winter months.

  • Rutabagas: Sow ~1,400 seeds per 100' double row, seeding 6 seeds/ft for a final 6" spacing and 24" row spacing.

All seed lots of this variety are independently tested for black rot (Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris) and black leg (Leptosphaeria maculans, anamorph Phoma lingam). Only lots that test negative are released for sale.
